A well-known hospital in the Netherlands is currently undergoing a large-scale renovation of its buildings and its HVAC and electrical systems.
Due to the planned replacement of the existing cooling installation, there was a need for a temporary cooling system with a capacity of approximately 200 kW, providing +12°C / +6°C chilled water during the summer months. It was essential that surgeons and supporting teams could continue their medical work 24/7 under comfortable temperature conditions.
The combination of a complex, multidisciplinary renovation and the hospital’s requirement to remain operational around the clock made the practical implementation of rental cooling highly challenging.
