A production site of a well-known European wood processing manufacturer suffered severe frost damage to its dry coolers due to a combination of unforeseen circumstances.

There was an urgent need for a temporary replacement cooling system with approx. 4,000 kW of cooling capacity at +45°C / +25°C water, to keep the production site operational and avoid serious financial and contractual consequences.

The company’s vision to minimize electrical energy use on-site led to a clear preference for an adiabatic cooling tower.

Our client, a well-known player in modular skid building and heat exchangers opted for certainty and awarded the project to Van Abeelen Rental Solutions for a period of 10 rental weeks, based on our proven and long-standing collaboration.

Thanks to our strict inspection and testing regime at our depot, we were able to draw directly from rental-ready stock, swiftly and without hesitation. We supplied, installed, and commissioned: 1 x 4 MW adiabatic cooling tower, Water treatment system, 1 x 30 kW fluid pump, DN200 fluid hoses, power cables, and adapter flanges
