Plastics Recycling Company
Our client is a plastics recycling company that is expanding its production capacity through advanced technologies and machinery.
This major player in the global plastic waste processing industry is significantly increasing its throughput. In this process, precise planning, preparation, delivery commitments, legal requirements, and commercial opportunities all play a crucial role. Any delay in the start-up of the new extruder line was simply not an option.
Van Abeelen Rental Solutions provided the client with: 400kW of cooling capacity, bringing the cooling water temperature down from +12°C to +6°C. This included a buffer tank, fluid pump, 4” hoses, and power cables.
To avoid negatively impacting the contractually required FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), the use of any medium other than clean water had to be avoided where possible. Thanks to our innovative and creative approach, we managed to eliminate the need for glycol.
We handled transport, installation, and commissioning in full.
At the client’s explicit request, a clearly defined lump-sum offer was provided to avoid any financial surprises afterwards. This approach was a key building block for the financial project controller.
Since the client could not confirm a fixed end date, a flexible rental contract was agreed.
