An international biodiesel producer in the Randstad significantly expanded its production capacity. During the new construction of a sub-plant, temporary process cooling was required to accelerate the processing of residual products from the refining process.
Van Abeelen Rental Solutions supplied a temporary cooling tower installation with approximately 5 MW cooling capacity and a flow rate of 800 m³/h cooling tower water.
Cooling solution in complex EPC environment
This project took place in a combination of existing production and new construction. As a result, the temporary installation had to fit within a tight project framework with limited space, high safety requirements, and extensive coordination with the EPC team.

More than just cooling capacity
Van Abeelen was involved as early as the commissioning phase. In addition to refrigeration technology, Rental Solutions contributed to process requirements, space constraints, HSE, risk reviews, document control, staffing, A1 declarations, and cost control.
The system was delivered, installed, and commissioned at a single transparent lump-sum all-in rate. This provided the client with immediate cooling capacity as well as control over scheduling, safety, and costs.
