Christian started as an intern at Van Abeelen almost 25 years ago. What followed is a great example of career advancement in engineering. From learning on the job to becoming an integral part of the team.

In the meantime, Christian has grown into a colleague with a lot of experience, technical insight, and a clear role within the organization.

Why does someone stay with the same company for so long? For Christian, a large part of that lies in the technology. Refrigeration technology is never boring. Every installation, every customer, and every project requires thought.

The technical challenge keeps the work interesting. Especially at Van Abeelen, where commercial and industrial installations are becoming increasingly smarter, more sustainable, and more complex.

Christian was given the opportunity to grow. From intern to a role within the management team. Not overnight, but step by step. By learning, taking responsibility, and working together with colleagues you can rely on.

His story clearly shows what Van Abeelen values: craftsmanship, development, and trust.
